1. About ProtectPatch

ProtectPatch ("we", "us", "our") is a trading name providing automated AI-assisted website security audit reports to businesses and individuals ("you", "the customer"). By placing an order you agree to these terms in full.

2. Nature of the service

Our security reports are produced using automated AI-assisted passive analysis of publicly accessible information about the domain you submit. This includes HTTP headers, SSL configuration, page source code, DNS records and detectable software versions.

Our reports are informational in nature and are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. They do not constitute a formal penetration test, a professional security certification, or legal compliance advice. Findings should be treated as indicative, not exhaustive.

We do not guarantee that our analysis will identify every security vulnerability present on your website.

3. Your responsibilities

By placing an order you confirm that:

  • You are the owner of the domain submitted, or have explicit written authorisation from the owner to commission a security audit of that domain.
  • You will use the report solely for lawful purposes related to improving the security of the submitted website.
  • You will not use any findings in the report to exploit, attack, or otherwise harm the website or its users.
  • The information you provide at checkout is accurate and complete.

4. Payment and pricing

Pricing is as follows: £99 for 1 domain, £179 for 2 domains, £249 for 3 domains, £379 for 5 domains, and £699 for 10 domains. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. There is no subscription or recurring charge associated with any tier.

5. Delivery

We aim to deliver all reports within 24 hours of payment confirmation. For multi-domain orders, all reports will be delivered within 24 hours of payment. Delivery times may be longer during weekends or UK public holidays. Delivery is by email to the address provided at checkout. We are not liable for non-delivery caused by incorrect email addresses or spam filters.

6. Refunds

If we complete your audit and find no critical or high-severity issues whatsoever, we will refund you in full. If we fail to deliver your report within 48 hours of payment, you may request a full refund by contacting us here.

If you believe there has been a material error in your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will investigate and, if the error was caused by our system, offer a re-scan of the affected domain(s) at no additional charge.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProtectPatch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on any report we produce.

Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Intellectual property

The report delivered to you is licensed for your personal or internal business use only. You may share it internally with your team or developer. You may not resell, republish or represent our reports as your own work without our prior written consent.

9. Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where the submitted domain is inaccessible, associated with illegal activity, or violates these terms. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

10. Data protection

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By placing an order you consent to this processing. We retain order data for 7 years to comply with UK financial record-keeping requirements.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place your order will govern that transaction. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
